Not much to create the blog, possibly $1-4. But, the real value would be in adding good quality content.

Figure out what you'd normally make for an hour of work (whether that is a normal job or IM work), and double it for however long it takes you to do the job.

This is always a good formula when someone asks you to do a job where you're not sure what to price it at.

IT depends a lot on who is paying you. I'd not pay much more than $5-10 because I know how easy it is to do and outsource. Someone who's never made a website might consider it worth $100+ easily.

A lot of ways to go about it... If you sell to the general public, NOT HERE, you can get more. I have seen a lot of people that want a blog but don't even really know what it is and just think they need one along with their business site.

I was thinking about offering setup for $50 along with other website services I do. Only takes a few minutes to setup and then when people want graphics/customizations & plugins that's where you can really charge them.

$50 may seem like a lot to someone who can do it themselves but there are a lot of people who don't have time & don't want to take a few minutes to read the docs to learn to do it.

Make sure they get their own domain. Setup a webserver and charge them for hosting every month.
