What Constitutes A "Quality" Post?

So, I've been a member of the forum for 30+ days, I have at least 50 quality posts (in my opinion), and I still can't have a sig/can't post in JV. I consider a quality post to be anything helpful- can any mods please advise me on what I should consider a "quality" post, so I know what kind of posts I need to be making? I'd hate to think that I'm just cluttering up this forum with over 100 junk posts!

I would like to know this too. I've been here over 30 days and I have over 50 "thanked" posts and yet I also don't have the option to have a custom avatar or a sig.

Even if you have more than 100 posts, you can't have signature as it need prior approval from staff and you should be a Donor or Jr.vip to have signature.

A quality post is any post that increases your post count. Posts in some sections aren't doing it, the rest are automatically deemed qualitative.

Yeah according to the FAQ I should be eligible for a sig and a custom avatar:

You must be a member of the forum for 30 days and have 50 quality posts before you will be allowed to use a signature on this forum. In order to use images in your signature, you need to be a Donor or Jr. VIP. Note: it may take up to an hour or more for the forum to update your post count and status.

I only want to have a one line plain text sig with no links or images in it.

In order to upload a custom avatar, you must be a member of the forum for at least 30 days and have at least 50 quality posts. If you do not have 50 posts or 30 days on the forum, you may still upload one of our standard avatars by clicking here. I got more than 50 posts ages ago and I've been here for 60+ days. So according to the FAQ and the Forum Rules I think should be seeing the option for a custom avatar in the User CP, but I'm not... unless there are some more rules I can't find, or it's a bug. The sig I can take or leave, but I'm really hanging out for an avatar lol.
