What Causes ‘Account Restricted’ on BM with Zero Activity?

Could be anything.

I have been trying to get into Whatsapp API for some automated messaging for a service I am building. I was playing around with settings and doing various things.. I basically didn't know what I was doing and then some restrictions started coming in.

It seems like there is some unusual action on this newly created BM, meta AI always screens for unusual signals and they will ban BM at any time. it is best to buy used BM.
 
if you did nothing wrong, let file an appeal or contact the FB support team. They will help you to get it back
 
Meta is currently running a pretty strict moderation system, even for inactive BMs. They seem to be using AI to filter out BMs early that the system suspects will be used for dubious purposes.

You can: Submit a protest via the “Quality Center” (Business Support).
Sometimes it takes a few days for the system to automatically remove them if there are no obvious issues.
 
One is the network IP has been checked many times. Two is they just ask for verification to check if the BM is generated normally. After successful verification the BM will return.

It looks like Meta is tightening up its auto-filters, potentially flagging inactive accounts. Don't let the new BMs sit completely idle.
 
Not all new accounts will not be banned, everything related to that account will be the criteria for meta to decide whether to ban you or not, maybe your BM, current or past equipment is not clean

Methods are fixed you need find a new way
 
for new BM to work you need to create BM on clean IP and soak it for 1 week

Yes, Meta is now restricting many new BMs even without activity if they look “too clean” or artificial. The environment is fully scanned, browser fingerprint, ASN/IP, existing Meta cookies, passive behavior. If your setup is too sterile (VM, fresh IP, no clicks or actions), it triggers automated flags. That’s why some people warm their BMs with light activity before launching ads. Using a mobile proxy (real ASN, organic IP) at the account creation stage helps avoid early restrictions like this
