What can increase my rankings other than PBNs and Web 2.0s?
Having a site with great content, most of all. As far as link building, probably guest blogging deserves a mention.
Purchasing few links from authority sites with high PR, high Trust Flow & high Citation Flow.
First of all, you will need to focus on on-page SEO. If your site is good in both on-page and off-page then you can skyrocket your rankings for sure. When it comes to off-page SEO, you need to diversify your back links. Other than PBN and web2.0, more number of link building techniques out there like guest blogging, infographic submission, etc, etc..
The quality of your content does nothing for your rankings, stop with your noobish WF myth spreading or supply the data that backs your claims.
The Secret Sauce.
A ladder found in stores such as B&Q.
Exactly my thoughts! I keep seeing people spreading myths like "quality matters", "you need X articles of X words" etc.
Buy Google or hire matt cutt.
I spent a lot of money updating my blog every day, and I gained hardly any rankings, content is NOT king!
You need informative & engaging contents for your readers first of all, creating buzz around the web using various traffic sources such as infographic syndication, video syndication, guest posting, launching webinars with the current problems on your niche & giving them a solution to to make yourself authority on your niche, launching quizz,giveaways,Q/A to help you figure out what actually people are looking for & then giving them what they need, asking people on your niche to link back(it becomes much easier if you have great contents, good amount of followers & has somewhat authority on your niche),posting/replying on niche relevant forums & blog posts, posting contents on social medias on a regular basis, adding targeted people & promoting your website/company using social media etc. This will help not help you get traffic & improve your ranking as well but will also help establish yourself as an authority on your niche.
But does that length of the content do something? Aka 300 words article with 2% kw density would rank worse that 2000 words article with 2% kw density? Does it matter if the site is only a few pages (3-5) or it's 100+ pages?
Really? Good content can rank without backlinks, sor for extra long term searches, but content will not rank your site, backlinks does, i have never seen content rank in the top 3 for lets say low midlevel keywords, if you have data that says otherwise then i would love to see it
Good on page SEO and lots of natural social shares!!
links from authority sites should be your next step after PBN and web 2.0
You must get backlinks from quality pages, it dosn't matter if it was a PBN or a real website (PBN has to look like a real website as well).
Looking for this too. Stop with the BS about good content, that's a load of crap. So far it's just links from real websites or expired domains(PBNs). I would add that quality blog comments, guest posting, links on social sites, press-releases, forum posting should work too.
Again, it all goes back to links! LINKS LINKS LINKS
But their is a trick on how to build your links, less is more!
Recipe: Two teaspoons of snake oil, one teaspoon of golden glitter, a pinch of shit, a little pepper, a little salt, voila
No, content is very important. It's not all about links, this isn't 2011. On-site optimization is important as well.
'only' content does not do you any good. however ,content with the right on-page optimisation & keyword density will show you a rise in ranks.
