What can a programmer do to make money

I don't like freelancing, and I really hate office work. I quited at the beginning of the year.

I'm good at coding. 5 years in the corporate world, C#, VB.NET, php...

I'm tempted to try all the methods I read here, but I feel that the marketing stuff always took me twice the effort

I made a big database site, and a rollover site to help it get indexed, but I think it wont give me a lot of money

What should I do? Keep doing databases sites, and maybe sell them? start playing with autobloggs? may be teach? I always liked to teach...

What do you think about a database script solution, with a lot of features, to sell it in DP?

Maybe you can program a content generator, convert it to an RSS feed, connect them together, make a WP plugin, connect them together, then have a content generator where you can autoblog... instead of using RSS for example. You sound like you have the experience to pull it off. Or maybe create a cloaker? Program a script where it goes to DP, or a marketplace forum for example, searches the BST section, and collects the OP's username, creates a page saying "Read about my experience with $username before dealing with them! I recommend everyone read this", and then have a form/submit there or something, convert it, lol. Just some ideas. Create a social network or something that can go viral...

Check out the "what program do you wish for" thread.. Similar to that name.. Or mimic other programs out there, but make them better.. There's a lot of money to be made w/ programming.
