I am looking for a compact pocket size camera, that can shoot professional quality pictures.
What i need is sharp, color rich pictures. What i don't need is features like 'share on facebook' and such crap.

Hmm. How big are your pockets? Anything from a bridge camera upwards is considered "Professional Quality", but may be a little big for your liking.

Otherwise, generally a camera is a camera. The more megapixels, the better. Some post-editing will make most pictures look professional.

No, the more megapixel the better is not right. It is not about how big pictures your camera can shot, it is about colors, it is about noise in shots in darkness. It takes a lot more than megapixel to make a good camera.

OP i can recommend you kodak zx11, even though the company doesnt exist any more, it is the best compact camera ive ever used

Get yourself a Fuji x100s, best small cam out there.

For professional quality pictures you need dslr. If sharp and color rich pictures is all you need - try GoPro series.

Get a Sony NEX-7. They are amazing. Nuff said.

Sony compacts are usually quite good, have a look at the ones with Carl Zeiss lenses.
If you want pro images though you're gonna have to go dslr.
