What belief/routine/hobby do have that gets you out of "depression"?

Self-hypnosis and meditation.
Empty your mind before you fill it up with something desirable.
 
I try to keep myself as active as possible. I do some mediation, and if I need to talk to someone, I make sure I do. Mental health is essential, especially in times like this. If anyone needs to talk, I am here for them as well.
 
Sometimes the best belief is that you can get help.
Find a psychotherapist that you trust and work on yourself.
 
Turn on music and get in bed under my blankets, get my kindle and start reading
 
Exercises and positive affirmation. Yes, those seem like real bullshit, but they work and can even do miracles.
 
Study Stoicism and if it's getting serious go see a doctor.
 
I enjoy listening to my fav music channel all day while working, so it keeps me in a positive mood.
If you do find yourself getting depressed at any moment, you have to learn to snap out of it quickly, or it can really affect you.
 
Fishing and swimming out doors. Being at one with nature sooths my soul...
 
less despresso more expresso ;) What helps me is going for a big arsed walk. like 10 miles.
 
Optimism, toxic people removal and high balling.

Do whatever you want buddy. I would go to forest and walk naked there if I felt the need...

Today for example I was walking for 7 hours and thinking about deviancies.
 
A lot of sports are good to go out of depression. You need to get tired after exercises. A fitness club is a good example. Also, you should go out of your home. Go to a disco club, drink a few shots and meet a pretty girl.
 
go for a walk, interact with people, try something new, coffee or any sort of stimulants can also help because a big factor in depression is feeling weak and tired
