    Mine are:
    • Porkbun (fair pricing, free privacy)
    • Namesilo (fair pricing, free privacy)
    • Namecheap (fair pricing, free privacy)
    • Godaddy (i dunno why it's -- maybe good UI lol)
I hate 1&1 even they sell a domain name for $0.00

If register & renewal fees are similar --> it shows that you're in a good company.

What are your favorite domain registrars?

Uniregistry has free privacy too. I like their app as well, very responsive.

    My priority list:-

    1.Namesilo
    2.Porkbun
3.Namecheap ( i only register at 1st year cheap price, then transfer to either namesilo / porkbun )
4.Cloudflare ( transferred few domains last week..they have fair renewal price just like namesilo)

I've mostly used Namecheap. Good prices, easy to set up, great customer support (based on my past experiences)

Name.com, great dashboard. I tried namecheap and it really is "cheap", it's ui sucks, I didn't like it. Its support was quite good thought, I've got to admit.

How is customer service from name.com?

Do they also have free privacy protection?

    What about renewal fees?

I don't know, to be honest I have never had the need to contact customer support. Renewals are like in the 12s I believe. I tried name.com when they launched a huge promo around the time I joined this forum and since then it has been my go-to registrar for my money site projects. I've used several registrars over the decade including small local registrars, 1nd1, godaddy, namecheap, namesilo, etc and my favorite is name.com; it's very easy to use, the company has a great reputation, etc. godaddy is great for the 0.99 first-year promos.

I buy from Namecheap, wait for 60 days when the domain is eligible for transfer and transfer it to Cloudflare. They boast, that they don't earn any money from domain renewals. You're supposedly only paying the bare minimum to have your domain renewed.

Most of my domains are mainly on namesilo and namecheap.
I do prefer namesilo though. Aside from better renewal rates, I also notice namesilo handles my transfers much faster than namecheap.
