there are simple tutorials on youtube in english narration to get you started for any project.
the software comes with tutorials in project-maker, explaining most common tools like lists, tables, variables.
zp forum has active EN support section. maybe have to have a licensed account to see it, not sure.

what are you trying to learn?
the interface of project maker has not changed. a video can be 5 years old. everything is still in the same place.
now there is two versions of ZP -- 7 & 5. in 7 things are all in same area as in 5, just re-skinned.
btw support forum has lots of tutorials which are in screenshot format.

When it comes to Zennoposter, it's always the same story: everything is hopelessly outdated or hopelessly Russian.
Yes there are some tutorials but they show the stuff that is easy to grasp, not what to do when you run into a real-life problem.
Anytime I have asked on this forum, someone said a good new tutorial will be out soon...

youtube search zennoposter tutorial...first video is in english. how hard did you look mate.
it could be in chinese for all that matters. interface and ux is the same.
i used zenno for years...very powerful and simple software. once you master the learning curve, you are unstoppable in botting any website.
tried BAS when it came out....it's similar in features but ZP does it lot better (imo). i cannot speak to how it looks like now.
in terms of resources...you are botting multiple threads, making lots of money, the cost of more CPU + Ram is negligible. at my peak my team had multiple high end computers and laptops dedicated to running zp 24/7/365.
if you are after "light weight", go ahead and learn python-selenium and or derivatives (puppeteer, casperjs, whatever is maintained these days).
ZP main benefit to me at the time was drag & drop simple gui to do infinite threading.

and? it's a decent program, but it's a memory leaking pig. i wish it weren't. i paid for some nice bots using it, and they will suck the life out of my servers in 3-4 days. i have other bots that will run for months.

i looked at a dozen ZP videos, and talked to two users. my answer is the same. the documentation is horrible...

ZP customer forum is where you go for dedicated help. power users are knowledgeable. often times questions are answered with project files or very good solutions.

As for memory leaks -- see forums, contact support. these guys will help you do garbage collection macros or fix it in the next version.
for example you have options to disable browser rendering, images, css, etc. this saves tremendous processing power. someone likely wrote an essay on how to optimize projects for efficiency within their customer forum. lots of moving parts here and no way a novice can figure it out themselves without study. bloat mostly comes down to your specs and complexity of the project. assuming you have a powerful pc to compare benchmark against.
