I am interested in affiliate marketing and I am seeking advice and guidance to get started properly. I have heard about the income-generating possibilities through affiliation, but I am unsure where to begin or which steps to follow for success.

I would greatly appreciate benefiting from your experiences and knowledge to navigate this field. If you have succeeded in affiliate marketing or are simply well-informed on the subject, I would be grateful if you could share your tips and tricks for a successful start.

Should I select a niche by sector or by type of target product?

- For example, should I focus on dietary supplements in general, or specify my niche by focusing on dietary supplements for weight loss or hair health?

Regarding the website format?
- which approach is most effective in terms of conversion and revenue generation in affiliation: a specialized blog that only writes articles on the type of product, or a more comprehensive website?

What are the steps for the project:

  1. Niche research
  2. Competitor analysis
  3. Product selection
  4. Platform choice
  5. Content creation
  6. SEO
This post aims to guide affiliate site creators step by step.

Thank you for your insights! <3

yeah and also You should probably start by looking into keyword research tools and digging deeper in to things like competition sites, how much traffic sites or pages are getting for various searches and what not. This can give you a better understanding of what sort of things people are actually searching for and if it’s worth pursuing based on the information you find.

Concerning the creation of the website.

Is it going to be a blogging site to start?

Because when we create the site and don't have traffic, we can't necessarily do affiliation, so is it better to write content on general topics while waiting to have traffic? Or directly start blogging about targeted products?

I've considered doing the same thing, but for me, it would be anything and everything - I'd cover every niche under the sun, so long as I think a product in that category will sell.

And do it in a blog format.

I saw one a while back which was nothing fancy at all and nothing complicated. It was simply a nice blog. The header was minimal and not complicated with loads of sub categories listed.

Treat each blog post on it's own as something to promote, as opposed to the entire site.

It depends on your current traffic source though. Personally, I treat SEO as a bonus and not something to focus too much on.

I would choose 5-10 narrow-niche sites (nobody canceled Google’s “random” either.
Very similar sites can behave completely differently in organic results).
