I just discovered that few peoples are developing OCR for breaking the captcha and they have most success with it, almost 90%. The most difficult one is from Google.

you can check out this site. Some develop their own captcha breaker just for fun.

    http://www.ocr-research.org.ua/list.html

and, you can simply hire a freelancer to do the job for you but for a fair price.

the only real market that i can see that would find it useful are makers of black hat softwares. and that segment of the overall software market is pretty slim. they limit themself even more by limiting # of copies to be sold. i cant see a mainstream software company making legitimate software wanting to break captacha's.. but i could be wrong, this is just my opinion.

I say if you do have such software, either don't share it, or put it straight into the VIP section. Keep it out of the mainstream.

Well, I doubt if they could. My point was that not all captcha's have a audio equivalent. This poses a problem for people who can't see well. I see great, but even some of the captcha's I come across stump me.

I think a marketing angle could be opening up the entire internet to all by breaking the barriors of accessibility/inaccessibility.

It all depends what captcha it breaks.
Captcha solvers are custom coded to solve one specific type of Captcha.

So if you have a solver, it depends what site it's for as to how you can make money using it.

Some captchas are 'easy' to solve, and they tend to be the one's that have little monetary value. Others are extremely difficult to solve because once solved they can be used by those evil spammers to make LOTS of money.

I'm somewhat confused by your question xXKingdom_SEOXx. The way you make money with captcha solvers is mass account creation. All those little windoze apps that automatically generate blogs. social bookmark accounts, email accounts, classified ads accounts, you name it... where you have to sit and enter the captcha for each account, cannot compete with real spamming tools running on high-powered servers with a fat connection (running through a bunch of proxies) that solve the captcha automatically. Instead of creating 1000 accounts per day, you can make millions of accounts, and that's how the spammers make the big bucks.

So you're right, there's a very small market for solvers, they tend to go for
a good price to the people that have the set up to take full advantage of it before the site concerned does something about it and changes it. Some of these sites (eg MySpace) have also taken legal action against the people concerned if they can track them down, which is another reason why you won't often hear much being discussed about it in public.

So, without knowing what captcha solver you have it's pretty hard to say exactly how you would make money from it, but I'd definitely advice keeping it to yourself and either use it sparing so it's not blatantly obvious what's going on, OR - get set up so your actions cannot be traced back to you, offshore accounts, strong anonymous proxies etc and hit it as hard as you possibly can for the limited amount of time you'll have before they change it.

Of course it's quite possible there's no real value to the solver you have - but most captchas are there for a reason, you just need to figure out what that reason is...
