I beginning to see more and more fake screenshots of people's online back accounts, PayPal, Google Adwords/Adsense and several affiliate networks like CJ, Azoogle and Clickbooth. Now I know many marketers have been using tactics like this for some time but where does the legal line get drawn? Anyone have any insight on this? I mainly referring to the US since I'm sure we're most strict about the subject.

Well you could really make any screenshot you want, its the claims that go alone with it that could be legal or not. Anyone could sue for false advertising if you claim you make thousands and dont.

Want to know what can happen when you lie about income or exaggerate claims?

Read this article and maybe you can ask the two who got convicted.
