I want to build a landing page (for a local roofing company) to use in my adwords campaign, the campaign will be to drive leads. I would like to know what the best methods/ optimization to use for getting a good ad-score with google and to help with capturing the lead as well. I know the basics of landing pages and structure...just looking for a deeper look into things. Any links or sites that you guys know of would help!

The key factors from my experience would be

    1) The landing page should have the terms and conditions perfectly defined on the main page.
    2) You should include the about us, contact us and privacy policy page.
    3) There should be a contact form on main page, to generate maximum out of each visitor.
    4) Emphasize on your unique competitive edge over your competitors.
    5) Place Reviews with Live case study's.
    6) The content written should be professional.
    7) Mention about the refund policy.

The list may goes on, however the above were the things which clicked in my mind, right now. Good luck though

extreme90 did a very good summary.

As QS and the landingpage part goes, pagespeed and mobile friendly website. Can't stress theese two enough!

However, good CTR beats everything when it comes to QS ;)

To get a good quality score make sure you include some keyword variations in the page title and content. Do not spam it with keywords, but it must be relevant. Thus, do not drive all the traffic to one page. You should differentiate the adgroups.

    Hello Members,

Follow the following tips for a perfect landing page for Adwords campaign:
1.) Make sure your landing page is directly relevant to your ad text and keyword.
2.) Provide useful information on your landing page about whatever you're advertising.
3.) Try to offer useful features or content that are unique to your site.
4.) Make it easy for visitors to find your contact information.
5.) If you request personal information from customers, make it clear why you're asking for it and what you'll do with it.
6.) Distinguish sponsored links, like ads, from the rest of your site content.
7.) Openly share information about your business and clearly state what your business does.
8.) Don't make people hunt around for the information they might need.
9.) Make it quick and easy for people to order the product mentioned in your ad.
10.) Don't annoy customers with pop-ups or other features that interfere with their navigation on your site.
11.) Make sure people can easily find information to learn more about the advertised product.

I hope this information is useful to all. For more information about paid marketing, one can text me here.
    Thanks!!!
