What are the hardest keywords to rank on page 1 on google?

I am asking because I ordered from someone who gurantee that He can get me page one for ANY keywords. So I want to test the service to see if its true or not? So please let me know what they are that do not include porn keywords.

I think some of them are:
google
youtube
facebook
insurance
mortage


However, which is the #1 factor that determines what makes the keyword hardest to rank on page 1? Meaning, what should I look for the websites that are ranking on page one (besides backlinks)?

thats not very fair for him!

If I were him I would just get you into a PPC campaign that got you on page 1.
 
Viagra is a big keyword, good luck ranking for that keyword. And by goodluck I mean "it's not gonna happen but I'll wish you good luck so I don't look like a douche" kind of luck.

"Click Here" is pretty well secured by Adobe and being that wikipedia dominants millions of searches, it's safe to say you won't be beating them for the term "Wikipedia".
 
Instead of check his capability by asking him first rank for hardest keyword and than work on your keyword, it is better to find out some reviews about his services, you can ask him to provide you references of previous clients.

Also ask him what sort of link building he wil provide you, how many backlinks per month and what sort of backlinks.

Try to build some kind of trust relation otherwise it is better not to work with this guy.

Ex: let say I want to check for all websites on page one that are ranking for "real estate". So which single thing I should check for all websites (besides backllinks)?

Install SEO Quake for Mozilla, and you'll see the details for each site when you go to google and type the keyword in.

Things to look for:

Page rank, "I" which means number of indexed pages, and Age of domain.

Already know that but thanks anyway. But I want to know the #1 factor that determines if its impossible to rank on page one or not for a particular keyword when comparing to the sites that are on page 1.
 
Is mesothelioma still up there? Used to get $12 adsense clicks back in the day from that sucker... think the CPC was around $21 circa 2006
 
How about this: should I just check how many results I get on google for a keyword and just send those keyword for him to try? Words like these:



the 24,710,000,000 (numbers indicates search results in google)
facebook 11,070,000,000
Free 9,640,000,000 results
About 8,290,000,000
Info 7,400,000,000
youtube 2,650,000,000

Meaning, the greater the "about results numbers" are determine how hard it is to rank on page one right? And it is harder than to rank this way than ranking on page one for keywords that have the most searches?

So you're going to Sell your home,computer,tv,bucket,mug,toothpick,etc.., to pay him SEO Fee for ranking a competitive keyword all just to test and see if his words are true or not. Right?
