This might sound like a noob question and I can actually look it up in google, but I just wanted to know your answer to this question, since there's so much turmoil going on about the "global" economy fallout, i'm sure some countries are still gaining ground or am I wrong?

Let me know your thoughts and experiences.

When America Sneezes pretty much the rest of the world follows on. Most of the big financial banks around the world are linked to the major banks in the USA, also when wall street stumbles the majority of investors world wide react.

Maybe places who save instead of using credit are the places which aren't very affected by the finance crisis. First country that comes to mind is Japan. Interest rates over there, have always been very low.

And in the Good News department, the Fed is working with foreign banks to reinvigorate things with lowered interest rates:

I was just curious and all the emails i'm getting that business is doing really well for them and I have to say, its one of the few times that I believe them.

Business is also doing great for me too so I think as long as you don't have stocks or in the mortgage/finance biz, everything should be fine.

my only worry is that the US currency goes down since my income is all in $$$ converted some of my money already to local currency...

Well, actually US$ gained positions in the last few days... it's worth ?0,73 right now, when in May and and all summer time, was just ?0,63. Let's see what happens next, probably something bing will happen after the election of the new US president.

Why do you people think that I do corporations in the USA instead of like, Botswanaland or Pottsylvania?

    USA!

    USA!
