Try bitcointalk marketplace there are many exchangers there. I haven't heard about buybitcoinsworldwide. Are you buying bitcoins or selling bitcoins?

As stated above , Bitcointalk "Currency exchange" section is probably the best place to sell or buy bitcoins in my opinion .
You simply make a topic and ask for the fees & payment methods that fits you and that's it . Just make sure to trade using escrow from the forums otherwise you will get scammed (since most of Payment methods are reversible unlike bitcoin).

Escrow accounts ? I'm not sure what do you mean honestly .
Escrows are members on the Bitcointalk forums (trusted members) and people use them for trading. (I would link you to the thread but I can't post links , I'm not sure why).

Note : If you have a "Newbie" account on the forums , people may leave negative trust on your profile if you act suspicious (using reversible payment methods/ don't want to use escrow etc ... ) .

I find bitcointalk to be very scammy and while there are great stuff there I wouldn't spend money there. I got a 4AM email demanding documents turning out some coins there were from a "hot wallet" and selling coins you have 180 days to worry about, I don't think it's worth it.

If you work with the big exchangers - Circle, Coinbase (nobody else can operate in my state I think), as long as it's tumbled correctly and if you really want stealth do a quick exchange on a Shapeshift.io like platform to another coin and it'll probably be the safest and most anonymous coins and closest to market rate. Yes, both do cursory checks on where the coins go but now that wallets and tumblers and quick exchangers are popular, I don't think it's much of a problem. Coinbase is a little sketchy, especially after they got rid of instant bank transfers (I'm guessing it's because people would just use random people's accounts and by the time the ACH pull is reversed, well, that's it), but Circle is actually really cool with customer service. The limits are a bit arbitrary for both and Circle charges about 3-4 dollars per coin above market at least, but you can use Paypal on both if you have a business debit - Paypal even gives you cashback for it, and weirdly it treats it sometimes as a cash withdrawal and sometimes not. Not being a bank I have no idea what they actually do under the trunk. OKPay and PerfectMoney don't have chargebacks but I think they have a pretty limited geographical scope and might require another hop which will be cost added.

On LBC outside of straight cash a deposit or a ACH transfer would be safest for you, I'd imagine. There's only a 5 day max "regret" window essentially for item nonconforming or whatever to reverse it and that's not guaranteed. Then there's 55 more days to claim unauthorized access of account which, they'll investigate, but banks actually have the resources to investigate so, unless it really was a scam you'll be safe in the end.

As for BTC mining, um, if you live somewhere with really cheap electricity (Washington state? $20 power bill every month, sometimes single digits), and you can get really cheap high end AMD graphic cards by the ton, and an effective way to cool them (again, cheap electricity helps), then it's a if you're lucky kind of answer, otherwise no, you're better off mining other coins and trading it back for BTC.

    WARNING:
do not use unknown exchangers that have low volume or are newly created they will run away with your money.
also old exchangers can run away with your money!

    so follow these two steps:
    1) find a good exchanger that is old and reputable
    2) don't keep anything on the exchanger, withdraw after each trade.

reputables are: bitstamp, bitfinex, kraken, btc-e, and also coinbase (although i don't like their TOS).

google this: bitcoin exchange reviews site:bitcointalk

Why is it so hard to find a good exchanger service for all the currencies? Because it is too easy to get started or?

Is LocaBitCoins honestly not good? Apart from the exchange rate, everything should be fine?
