What are the advantages of..

A hitbot that uses proxies generating unique visitors and hits to a web site?

I had one created that works real well, Seems to show in alexa and web stat websites.

I am just wondering what the advantages are and what the dis-advantages are.

Does anybody have experience with this and know?
