I was wondering what are some passive ways to make income online? Because I'm sure YT + PPD/CPA will some day come to an end in the future. and I live in Minnesota, US so I can't become an Amazon affiliate so that too is out of the question... So what do you guys think? What are some ways for passive income? :)

Nothing I have found is really "passive" - all my projects I have been able to set up and run, and unless I'm trickling articles or adding content, it usually fades away. While it is not 24/7 or 8 hours a day, if I did put that much effort, it would be making more money. For simplicity's sake, I'll break online income into these categories:

    1) Online Advertising, 2) Affiliates (other than Amazon), or 3) CPA ('cost per action'). Online advertising would be serving ads from Chitika, Google Adsense, or some other ad network. Affiliates would be selling products or services for another company, which you can do for hosting companies, ebay, adult website subscriptions, and the like. CPA would be sending visitors to a site, cost per signup, filling out forms, or downloads.

Now for some ideas.. If Amazon & YT+PPD/CPA aren't working for you, or you don't bank with them, you could always try these:

    1) If you have coding skills and/or design skills, find a niche problem online and solve it. Build a product. Set up a landing page, use CJ, clickbank, or some other CPA site where you're the producer to market it. Examples of this are Google Sniper, Market Samurai, etc. Your product will have to be updated eventually, but for the time being you'll be first to market and solving a need others haven't yet.

    2) Google Adsense is another very viable option, just set up a site in a niche (and fulfilling a need) and use banner ads. Pick an "evergreen" niche, and add content to get the long-tail keywords over time. Rank the site using whatever methods you want (white or black hat).

    3) Adult always works, and there are some relatively niche sites to do PPS (pay per signup) and go after.

    4) Set up an ecommerce shop where the backend is all automated. Make your site an authority in the niche, have dropshippers handle all product fulfillment, and focus on marketing the site.

Hope those helps, and feel free to PM. I have some sites/ideas in cold storage should you want some ideas, which I'm open to discuss a potential JV in.

You need to find a problem and make a solution to that problem. Then market it to people with the problem.

Move to another state and sign up to become an Amazon affiliate? Seriously, how about going into app/game development?

Depends on what you call a passive income.
From my point of view, FULL passive income does not exist...
YES you can start some projects that after finishing them will run and make you money for some time but they will need maintains & updates time to time or if you don't maintain them, they will decrease the earnings till they drop to zero.
And as for YT + PPD & CPA, I don't think that they will come to an end soon.

Like others said there is not really a true "passive" income, all methods require a little effort every now and then.

I know exactly what you mean. I have seen my old methods die out and new methods emerge. One hard lesson I learned is to
keep cash reserves for ongoing investment so you never start from the bottom. Never spend everything you make in business or
your business cannot change and since we are living in a world of change that is oh so critical.

Absolutely not! You cannot ask someone to take time out of a busy day just to spoon feed you on monetizing YouTube.
Sure, I know I have a lot to learn but you gotta have enough dignity to learn for yourself. If you hit a brick wall you can ask for help
with a certain problem but not right out of the gate.

I'm a Senior in High School so my hands are kinda full. I've messed around with Unity before and I had a lot of fun with it. But how would I make money with that? Creating games and selling them? Or what were you thinking?

If you want you can PM me and I can give you some tips but I can't spoon-fed... Well I can but I don't want to. Nobody spoon-fed it to me and all I did was look at the Journey section, and read all the posts that people say I just kind of went for it. I just started and so far it's working and I can see the potential and I can scale up whenever I decide to.
