How cheap and tight fisted 99.99% of people are.

Someone produces a great looking course, you can tell they put a lot of effort into the production. off support/mentoring e.t.c. Then they sell it for sat $99. And all of sudden it's "high ticket", "big investment."

This is B*S* that only happens online. Try getting a lawyer/doctor to fill it a simple form for least than $200. See if they offer a money back guarantee.

I see it all the time online. "I always do research for anything over $10..." W.T.F. you research before spending $10? And i'll bet that buyer wil lbe a time sucking pain in the ass. Probably chargeback to boot.

Why is it like this on the net? is it the people spending all day surfing looking for free products, advice, help? Is it the vendors fault for offering too much for too low price so now they compete?

Selling to the masses is a frustratingly, hard way to make a living. They demand too much ,expect too much and bitch the most. Rant over

    Any thoughts?

That's your cheap vision. Theres a lot of peoples like that, and many not like that, if you're selling a product, target the peoples "not like that".

yeah....I do. But get slammed with people wanting my help/service for free as well. And if you look at forums...most people are like this. Like you say best to build a business around wealthy people or at least people willing to invest some coin.

" You can't get rich selling homes to the homeless."

the problem is authority, you can judge a lawyer by his degree but not in IM. In IM everything can be faked, faked cheques, faked vacations etc. and many people have been scammed by so called gurus who promise the world and deliver a crap product, so people are jaded and don't want to spend money to find out that they are scammed again. Its lack of trust syndrome, the same way we feel about our politicians sometimes.

If you are targeting everyone, then 99.99% of people aren't being cheap and tight fisted - they are the 99.99% who don't want or need your product.

Don't try selling to the masses.

Try selling to the people who want or need your product.

Doctors and Lawyers spent 4-7 years of their lives and thousands of $$$$$ to be qualified to charge $200 an hour.

Most people selling killer courses online are selling hyped up rehashed crap and they should feel ashamed taking $99 off gullible fools.

so if you have letters after your name it's fine to rip people off..is that what you are saying?

My point was offline people pay and often pay big..online it's like a flea market.

How is a lawyer ripping people off just because his time costs $200 per hour?

And there are plenty of online products, services and businesses that cost a lot of money.

No, If you study hard for an accumulated amount of time and have a valuable skill then you have a right to charge for it. Thats the return on your investment.

I would be interested in what sort of online courses you are talking about that are worth way in excess of their ticket price ?
