I have tried Article Marketing by posting in niche groups like facebook and google + communities. I have tried blogging my products certain niche nice template, tried my niche Instagram, and craigslist. I get hops but no sales what am I doing wrong? I haven't tried twitter yet. I'm using blogger as my blog example: www.yourwebsite.blogspot.com using there domain. What can I do to improve to get a sale? I've also manually done some SEO to my blog myself. So I'm trying but no luck yet how long did it take you to get a sale and any tips are appreciated thanks!

Note that blogspot website is not mine that was just a example how I have my domain.
 
It depends on which product you're promoting.
Also "get hops" could mean 20 hops and could mean 2000.

I've promoted products in the past where the first 500 hops got me no sales but the next 500 yielded hundreds.
You have to stick with it for a bit of time to see how things actually play out.

If you're straight forward about the product cost then you can prevent people from clicking the hoplink just to see the price which will make your analytics more accurate.

edit: "yielded hundreds" = yielded hundreds of dollars, not sales.
 
just be patient, it takes time to build trust and followers. just keep going and always remember " Failure only exists for those that give up "

Well on my blog I write a 600 word article of it and when I go to different groups I give a short summary article of the product. I'm in the health/fitness niche btw.
 
So far I haven't payed a penny yet. Is it true in order to make money you need to spend money? Because I haven't spent any money yet besides my time.
 
Depends what you do and what you know to do will you spend money(more and less). And there is free ways like you already do, just maybe you pick bad product, maybe your sale(review) page is bad, social network don't have that much conversation rate like organic google traffic etc... and like someone here mention, do you get 20 hops or 500 hops... If you think you can just write some article and spam a little on facebook or other social networks and will get sales just like that, you are wrong. It is possible but not that easy and not much money. Like I say on social networks people mostly come to chat, look for some girls etc not to look for weight loss product or something.

It you will make money faster if you spend money, but you dont have to.

Your methods are ok, and will make you some sales. without seeing your blog or the product you are selling it is hard to say.

It could be a shit product, a product in a low searched niche or you may be giving bad content and the users are not impressed.

Anyway, I can tell you the one thing you are doing wrong and this is you are not building a list (I dont see anywhere this was mentioned).

A lot of people dont buy right away but if you keep in contact with them, they may buy at a later date. this is why capturing emails is so important.

There any free special coupons for bing ads I probably need to start with that to get some sales under my belt.
