I'm interested in finding out what CPA network publishers use. I am a new publisher and don't have the budget for CJ so I am looking for affiliate networks that are:

    1. Reasonably priced to join for publishers
    2. Do not require large up-front capital outlay
    3. Do not require large account escrow/balances in reserve
    4. Have a decent sized group of active CPA advertisers

    Also, for CPA marketers/advertisers:
    1. What's your preferred affiliate/CPA network to use?
    2. What do you look for in a CPA deal?
      • I know more money is better, but would you rather get a percentage of sale or fixed commission?
    3. What's your preferred method of advertising?

My website is not related to adult, gaming, dating, etc. so I don't need to worry about being accepted as a publisher in a CPA network. It's very PG and just about anyone can promote/make money from it so I don't think I have any restrictions as a publisher.

    Thanks!

Are you saying that CPA networks charge you money for starting out with them or what?

For starters, Peerly and Maxbounty have been around for many years. Both of these should be a good start for you.

Yes... Every time I contact sales at CJ, they want to charge me $10K to $15K to get started as a publisher even though their website says it's free. I'm looking for decent affiliate networks that are reasonably priced (or free) for publishers, and have good advertiser reach.

Thanks, I will check Maxbounty and Peerly.
