    Hello,

I'm living in Turkey i hate that silly system of education actually i'm not talking just about that education system only in turkey i mean that circulation (go to university every day for 4 continuously years and i have to sleep early and wake up early and talking with others smart,stupid,small,tall,...etc students :) and waiting for ridiculous instructor to say a shitty info and and and and ........... !

So i met yesterday someone here from UK and he has knowledge about that issue ,, so he told me why not to start distance learning from your home in Camprage or Oxford to be honest that impressed me but what i worry about the costs of that colleges as i was already in CS last year,
i already contacted Oxford but did't got any respond yet !

So can you please tell me how approximately costs that kind of college will be yearly ? (distance learning)

    Thanks for reading
    Best Wishes

I personally study here full-time face to face traditionally, so no first hand experience, but a little Googling work and this is what came up:
    http://www.thecompleteuniversityguide.co.uk/distance-learning/entry-requirements,-applying-and-fees/
    http://www.thecompleteuniversitygui...ere-to-study-at-uk-universities-and-colleges/

And I assume Camprage is Cambridge? As in the actual city and university. Might want to honestly Google around a little bit before coming to ask these things at an IM forum, not the best place to start with. Ever heard of http://www.thestudentroom.co.uk/ ?

Cannot be certain that you can even complete degrees at Oxbridge online, but they do offer some courses:
    http://www.ox.ac.uk/admissions/continuing-education/online-and-distance-courses
    http://www.ice.cam.ac.uk/courses/online-courses

Do bare in mind, even if Cambridge and Oxford offer online degrees, the entrance barriers will be massively high, as they are in person as well. Cambridge will definitely fail you for getting their name wrong though.

Maybe he was thinking of Open University? It's not cheap, but then again not super expensive and definitely well regarded. It is open entry meaning anyone can give it a go.

Can't believe no one has mentioned it.

Just make sure you don't send money to some random person and do your research beforehand, get advice etc. Definitely possible though.

Open university seems awesome, I just don't get why they don't allow Americans to take their online degree programmes. I wouldn't be surprised if it was some kind of deal with U.S. universities since getting a degree from them would be a fraction of an online Degree in America.
