I know everyone says do not mix your WH and BH domains. My question is, if you had a WH .com domain and wanted to use your .net of the same name for BH purposes would it be wise? Please keep in mind the .net is only used as public webmail and has no web presence. Sorry if this is a lame question - I'm still a newb.

    Thanks for the help.

    Interesting indeed...

I have always kept BH domains completely seperate from my WH. I have thought about doing that before, but as hardcore as I used to get, I never really took the chance. If I were to personally do it, I would just setup two IP's in my dedicated server. Call me paranoid, but I am just not comfortable putting BH on WH Ip's.

Back in the day when I was always building. Sure I would do it, but not these days. I don't see a problem if they are on seperate IP's but then again I could be missing something. Been out of the game a bit, a little rusty:)

just for testing purposes I made a WH site with BH cloaked page redirecting to the homepage.

    It didn't affect my domain.
Still going strong with that site. Over 1 year now and over 800 pages indexed and ranked high for a very competetive keyword.

Funny thing is, on shared hosting!
