    some info: http://www.blogherald.com/2009/09/26/filipino-bloggers-vigilant-with-typhoon-ondoy-floods/

I got a mate still stranded on the 2nd floor of their house with his wife and lil daughter :( His cellphone's dead. And we can't do anything but pray :( It's starting to rain again here

I know begging for money's against the rules but I just thought maybe some fellas here on BHW's generous enough to send some donations. Any amount would suffice.

I'm in no way connected to any of the above URLs. Just thought I can help in my own little way by making this thread.

BHW Staffs please delete if I'm breaking any rules. Willing to accept any punishment. Thanks everyone and God Bless the Philippines!

A safer way would be thru a legit organization like Red Cross...

Glad my house is out of the Typhoon belt and in Cebu.

I feel for those in that area. There is poor relief, rescue equipment available in most cases.

Governments will get involved for sure. but mostly too slow.

    will donate some.

Red Cross link added mate. Txtpower's the only one that accepts Paypal donations though. Unless I missed something on the "How to help" link.

To gawjus69, Zwitterion, snowwhite, aussietech, and everyone else in the country, keep safe!

Shit happens the least you expect it man. It rained nonstop for like 24hrs. The recorded 6hrs rain was equivalent to 1month rain we get here normally.

Typhoon "Morakot" (International name) didn't affect us much last time but caused a disaster when it hit Taiwan. You get what I mean?

Nice to see you here mate. You 100% Filipino? Keep safe. Stopped raining here now. I'm in QC. We almost got hit. Only 1 street away.

That dog in the last pic has grabbed my heart!

I am going to pray for all the animals as well (they need some love too)

    Please do the same.

    Cheers.
