Went to sleep at 10pm (2 and a half fucking hours ago) and I just woke up, WIDE AWAKE (It's now 12:30am.)

My best guess would be too much caffeine.

Basically I accidentally napped instead of sleeping. Do I try go back to sleep or get up and make myself tired for tomorrow?

That's happened before when my schedule's really messed up.
Weight training makes me sleepy so that's my remedy.

That's super weird, I thought you meant that you feel asleep at 10pm and woke up at 12pm meaning you have slept for 14 hours.

Never happens to me, actually I thought you meant you got 14 hours of sleep and I thought 'huh, sounds like me, I'll come in and leave some input.' Turns out you only slept 2 hours, which also sounds like me some nights, few weeks ago I only got two hours of sleep, woke up at 5:30 I think, watched some Big Bang Theory contemplating whether I should go back to sleep, but ended up staying up until the next night. I actually got a lot accomplished that day to, a lot more than regular....weird how that works. Do whatever you feel like though man, the human body is capable of amazing things.

If your rub your pinky toes with coconut oil, both in a counter clockwise rotation it will make you fall asleep pretty quick =)

And how do you feel when you wake up? Maybe give us some more tips, I'd like to have your sleeping schedule too. Atm it's pretty fu*ked up, I go to bed at 8 - 9 AM, I sleep until 2 PM then take a nap from 12 am to 1 am. I already got used to this sleeping schedule and I feel good during the day but I want to do something about it, I'm quite sure it's not helpful in the long run.

We had a thread a while back about sleep.

In summary: before electricity was widespread(before 1900 for most the planet) humans had a totally different sleep habit. It was usual to sleep from 6 PM to around midnight, wake up, eat, have a party, work, make children, then go back to sleep again. That is, for thousands of years we had poliphase sleep. In these last 100 years we have not lost the polyphase sleep habit. Lots of people have a sudden drunkeness at around 5 to 6 PM and if you stay awake you'll feel like running a marathon at midnight. It's just your body claiming a habit we had for millenia.... Also this explains why having a shorter sleep and later a nap will rest you much more than having 8 hours straight sleep. We're not wired up to sleep 8 hours straight, the 8 hours thing was imposed on us by the modern market.
