I just bought my usual round of twitter retweets to diversify my linkbuilding efforts (couple thousand), and low and behold, the URL was deindexed, along with a few other posts. Normally social signals don't make much of a difference for me (if they do, it's a POSITIVE result). Anyone else have the same luck lately with twitter?

It tend's to happen when you buy thousands of social links, Especially lately. You sneeze the wrong way and you get penalized.

I've never heard of retweets (or any other twitter activity) getting a URL deindexed. Did the URL contain spammy/spun/low value content or was it unique? Were you doing anything else to promote the site at the same time that could have caused it?

As I know Retweet - Index but this looks difference to me. One thing that cleared is blasting is not good even for social media websites. Drip feed will be Good.
