    Hey Guys

I din't know how this happened- but I am logging on my credit union visa account this morning and someone got the number 2 days ago..

Started with a 1 dollar authorization. then 5 then 20 then 50, 70, 100, then a 200 kept going till they ran me dry and stopped em from authorizing funds..

called this am still was in authorization mode CSR said nothing we can do till the charges pull. I said its fraud cant you take my funds down..."Nope"

She says once visa pulls the auth its theres and I have to dispute which would take up to 60 days if they offer to pay me back then don't..

All charges made from ASK*ASKJEEVES must be someones personal cart Don,t know if you guys can help me track this down..

I am so pissed right now. I am broke was using these cards trying to put my biz together and now someone is stealing from me....ARGHHH

that was my Rant thanks for listening and remember security for your credit..

    Blessings

    B~

That's shitty :( I remember this happened to my Mom-- but Visa promptly got the money back somehow.

How do you think it was stolen?

Shit man, i don't have any ideas as to how to track that. I hope visa can straighten that mess out for you. Keep your numbers safe, don't skimp out on good anti virus for your machines. Could have been a keylogger or other type of malware that stole your info.

    Best of luck to ya

I only recently started hangin out here and other IM forums so someone around the web may have caught me with my pants down... I don't know which...But They said with the dispute I will get the credit back just take awhile...

i suggest this Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware its free but not to remove but its helfull in finding little buggers then you can just search the virus name and find an antivirus what removes them

and also Spybot - Search & Destroy its exellent in protecting backuping and destroying :D
    hope i helped

if its your credit card you should have some comeback on it -

if its a debit card you could be screwed especially if somehow they got your PIN too... :(

Its A Credit Card thanks for the information I canceled it. Still Furious that it got out and CC companies can't stop the charges when they catch it in the authorization phase.
