Don't know where to post this so I tried here. Hope it's ok.
I had thousands of visitors last couple of days. Analytics show that they are all direct hits, viewing average 3 pages and coming from different parts of the world, mainly usa, uk, eu countries, the visits I usually get. And they stick around for couple of minutes too.
The only thing that is different then my usual users is the fact that they don't click on ads. Or trigger popunders.
Are they bots? What is going on?

I spent half an hour analyzing GA and still don't get it. Aren't robots supposed to just click a page and leave? Is it a small scale DDOS attack? It lasts for a couple of days now.

Maybe your site is getting scraped?

I guess these are bots from domain stats sites.

They only visit 2-3 times which doesn't look like scraping, but nice idea. Also, domain stats don't come from 90 different countries.
Thanks for your 2 cents, I'm still looking for the solution, and I know it's a three pipe problem for someone, so if you know, please enlighten me.
