WEIRD Linkbuilding Targeted At My Site

    I haven't paid for these or built these. There's a bunch of Web 2.0s being built linking to my pages. The weird part is, there are generic anchors being used like "read more" etc so I don't know what to make of it. It's very obvious that it IS in fact some sort of SEO campaign and not legitimate links. There are also exact match anchors pointing at the wrong page of my site which is strange.

    What should I make of this?

    Maybe someone is practicing SEO on your site to see if what they are doing can push your site up the serp's.

    or it could be a prelude to a N-SEO attack.

    Could be someone testing SEO on your domain like the guy said above, OR if you're using an EMD or PMD they might have the spelling wrong and think they're linking to their own domain. Unlikely but not impossible.
