First make a backup of your pass, bookmarks and add-ons.
    Remove %APPDATA%\Mozilla.
    Start Firefox

    If the problem persist:

First make a backup of your pass and bookmarks.
    Remove %APPDATA%/Mozilla.
    Uninstall Your Firefox Installation.
    Make new install of Firefox.
    Start Firefox

    Regards.

Ditto here too. After I first turn on my computer I can open FF only by clicking a link in an email. From there on in I must keep a window open to keep FF as my browser.
If I accidently close that one window I'm toast for the rest of the day unless I restart my computer. Its pain and I keep getting and getting...:eek:oops sorry this is embarassing" from FF.

Have had to download Chrome to make sure I have at least one browser working.
Have tried everything I can to get FF working by removing and downloading again but to no avail. Its a pain in the proverbial as I have always liked FF best but this rate ...they can keep it.

    Bugs:D

A lot a sites need JavaScript enabled. So disable it,not seems a good solution.
If FF begins to fail, the clean install will be better.

Firefox has been the same for months now there has been loads of problems with it, it is like they just don't seem to care anymore lol, I have to laugh because you would think that with the release of chrome and stuff they would be making more of an effort. but anyways it's not just you it all of us faithful ff users suffering
