Weight of a EMD (.com) against Highish Allintitle/Allinurl?

In essence, I'm wondering what weight Google puts on exact match .com domains? I have a few decent keywords that have EMD available. The allintitle and allinurl are slightly high. The top sites look pretty easy to beat, but I'm new to this and don't want to take on too much competition. Would a well SEO site with EMD and good titles rank well against a few thousand all intitle/allinurl sites?

It's still good, although it lost a bit in the recent updates. Just make sure your keyword research is sound. (I've had some duds in my portfolio because of poor keyword research).
