Website was #1 for almost a year, went to 2 page

    I transfer my domain to another register, but had problem with the dns, the site went off for almost a day, after this, its being sitting on second page for 2 weeks now... What will you do to bring it back?

    its the same host, i just changed the register

    Have you checked the cached date to see when the last time G crawled it?

    If possible, I would add some additional content (inline with the homepage's theme/messaging/kws). Like another paragraph or more of unique content that is not overly spammy. Next time G comes and finds new content, hopefully you'll regain your place back on page 1.

    You might want to check if you've had some negative SEO if you got any competitors.
    Deadly weapons these days, but don't lose your motivation, just keep on doing your SEO, and you will succeed! :)

    But make sure you don't have all the new articles on the keyword you are targeting, have some related articles as well, I'd say 40% related or even more.

    You can also have a look to see if you have lost some backlinks.

    Get some quality social signals, it will help bring it back. Penalties for downtime are usually temporary.

    Thanks all for you answer, it seems that i have lost some of the backlinks, for now i added a post and will try to do some socials signal to see if i can back up, this site was making me 1k month, lost it all just to save 20bucks on domain renew...

    Yes, google crawled this site almost instantly whenever something changed.
