More and more I am starting to believe that the speed of your websites plays a important role in your rankings. I am trying to find a faster web host. Currently I am with Hostwinds and here is my speed. I am trying to get it into the fast range. I feel it will be beneficial for my rankings if I can get it into the fast zone.

I am pulling this from Google Webmasters: You can find out by logging into webmasters, and then click labs, and site performance.

On average, pages in your site take 3.6 seconds to load (updated on Mar 28, 2012). This is slower than 60% of sites.

It would be great if you can share your website speed as well as your host!

Web site speed helps, but Google can't attach that much value to it. The fastest loading sites out there are crappy thin affiliate sites. The big established sites are usually pic and video heavy with tons of content.

But a nice fast host is Arvixe.
