    Hey quick question,

I re did my site from I believe HTML to Wordpress and i was kind of in the middle of an SEO package and my question is that will it affect my rankings? I did the "site : www.zyx.com" and it didnt show, is that because i just re did my site OR i got sandboxed for something?

    Thanks guys!

I've seen significant improvements with this before - not sure if it was the addition of lots of unique images, or improved visitor behaviour that helped my rankings.

    Make sure:

    - your .htaccess gives the same results as before, so no funky redirects. Like if your new site is: domain.com, rather than www.domain.com as it was before, then you may see a big drop in rankings (set the site url as www.domain.com not domain.com in wordpress or vice versa to make sure this happens in the right way)

    - you 301 redirect any old urls to new urls. Apparently you lose a little bit of link juice doing this, but it's better than doing no redirect at all.
