I noticed when I do ping:mydomain.com my websites (on single, normal hosting) have different IP probably because they are all pinned to cloudflare.

Does it mean I can make backlinks to moenysite from multiple sites on that hosting? Because they have different IP?

CloudFlare basically masks your IP and serves your site from a nearest available IP when a visitor tries to access it.

So, if someone tries to access it from Germany, they may see a German IP. That said, you cannot hide your site behind CloudFlare if you have other CNAME records, mx records etc that will still expose your original IP. But people often use this tactic to host PBNs though.

So, be careful when you link out to this site from your own ( I would imagine PBNs) other sites hosted on the same IP.

For PBNs, they remove all other cnames, the only downside is that you won't be able to use emails, but for PBNs you don't need them anyway. You can check out Darryl's blog lionzeal.com for a comprehensive guide on this.
