    So my website got indexed yesterday but something weird happened I guess...
    Instead of indexing as:

    www.domain.com, I got indexed as: www.domain.com/index.html, lel...
    This is my first time seeing something like this...
    Could this be a problem or?

    Thanks

    Nope, there's no problem with that. Your website is still indexed and will rank according to its content and SEO you do..

    If it really annoys you, modify your htaccess

    Code:
    RewriteEngine On
    RewriteRule ^index\.html$ / [R=301,L]
    RewriteRule ^(.*)/index\.html$ /$1/ [R=301,L]

    Home Page:
    When creating a link to your home page anywhere on your website, make sure you don't use:

    Code:
    <a href="http://www.domain.com/index.html">Home</a>
    nor

    Code:
    <a href="index.html">Home</a>
    Instead use:

    Code:
    <a href="http://www.domain.com/">Home</a>
    or

    Code:
    <a href="/">Home</a>

    Just use canonical (easier choice) OR .htaccess trick from Treeofl1

    1) If only page with (domain-com/ index-html) gets indexed then there will be no problem. But if there are links on your site pointing to domain-com eventually domain-com will also gets indexed and then the problem of duplicate content starts. To stay safe from this problem use canonical tag in the header section of your index page
    <head>

    <title>domain</title>

    <link rel="canonical" href="domain-com"/>

    </head>

    or if you are using wordpress use some plugin

    2) If you already built some links to domain(.)com/index(.)html try to do the 301 redirect as canonical tag cannot redirect the link power.
