Hi,

I have been away a while due personal stuff. Today i tried to go to one of my websites, but it then redirected me to some betting offer. So I guess my site is hacked.

I have tried to check if its some redirections in cpanel but could not find anything.

I have also tried an backup from late February without any luck.

Nulled theme or web compromised, i think you should download all the site and scan it to every file

its not really hacked, but exploited i would say. its not too difficult to find. presuming youre using wordpress:
zip up ur entire plugin folder, see if it still redirects.
if not, zip another folder up and try.
this is how i found it hidden in my plugins folder a long time ago

Same problem but i suffered for 2 weeks no solution.

After scanning and multiple convos with multiple hosting support member i can confirm this. This is not hacked but exploited.

I have to delete my all website + database. Just backup your post and content and setup everything again with official theme and plugins.

These days, when this happens to me I just set up a new Wordpress install on a sub domain, install the same theme and plugins, then manually copy across the content and get everything to the point where it’s identical.

Once I’m happy, I destroy the old site and then use duplicator pro to push the rebuilt site from subdomain to live domain.

Otherwise, there’s nothing more frustrating than spending ages repairing your site, only to find out the hacker left a back door and it gets compromised all over again a few weeks later.

That’s assuming it’s Wordpress you are using, which I’m guessing is a yes, otherwise it probably wouldn’t have gotten hacked in the first place
