My Website got banned on Adwords. Account is still live. I am planning to creat a new account and website. But I want to add the new website(new domain) to the same hosting as the one that got banned. Is that going to work or did google also bann my hosting ip? Is getting a new domain enough or do I also need new hosting?

Would be great if someone could help me out

Highly doubt they side out the whole hosting provider - this can be plausible, when you cloak, which is why using the regular hosters like GoDaddy or Amazon AWS won't turn good.

2 OP, changing to a new domain is the most you can do - perhaps, you could also re-arrange your keywords and alter the ad copy.

You can`t be serious.. If the guy uses a shared hosting, banning that particular hosting server can ban other tens or even hundreds or other websites. So no, they won't ban the hosting, the URL is banned though and if you haven`t used privacy when registering it, your account might be compromised, as a simple whois will give all of your acc info.

So what if the guy used a private hosting, not shared hosting? from my clients' experience, they often use different domain and hosting when their accounts got suspended. I guess that's for better security, though.

The problem that pops into my head is that google can`t know your website plan and if all the websites hosted on the same server will be from the same account or if the server is split to multiple accounts. I guess that if you want to be 100% safe, you can change hosting, but I wouldn`t..

Yeah, Google isn't banning the IP. I say IP because we're talking about servers as though they have a 1-to-1 relationship with IPs, which they don't. The majority of websites online share IPs, including "private servers." You can put a whole bunch of servers behind one IP via a NAT. So, it's absolutely possible to be on a "private server" but still be sharing an IP. It makes sense that Google would ban a domain. Banning an IP could have unintended consequences because there could be, and often is, tens or hundreds of servers behind it representing thousands upon thousands of websites. Could OP be running a private server on a private IP? Sure, but so few people do that it's statistically unlikely.

Thx for the replies guys. I have shared hosting. I created an addon domain on my hosting. I am using wordpress so I cloned my old site which might have benn a mistake. I changed everything that was my old website name into the new name in the post and everything but I left most things the same. Made a new adwords account createt two textads to 2 posts(same posts I used on old website but on the new domain) and the ads got disapproved in a matter of minutes.
Old domain name shouldnt show up anywhere on the new site . The ads got disapproved because of policy violation on the website, so are they disapproved because google noticed that the content is the same as in the old site? I might try if another whitehat post gets approved or just createt a brand new post on the website.

Hover over the question mark in the top corner of the ad in the 'Ads' section, and see the reason as to why it was disapproved. This should clear your doubts.

On disapproved for it only says: Site violates policy and if click the text it links me to this page support.google.com/adwordspolicy/answer/6368661?hl=en#675 , but under the site vilolates policy section it ony says:If you see this status, your ad was disapproved because the app associated with your ad violates one or more of our policies. So I guess they mean the policies above? (one of which is Insufficient original content which applies since I cloned my own website) So I try change the content. Anyone knows after how many disapproved ads account gets banned? and will my payment information be banned too?

Also since I submitted my older site (newer site is a clone) to google search console would it help if I deleted that older site from google( if it is possible) so Google doesnt have the site on its radar and I dont violate the policy bc of Insufficient original content?

It's probably just your app that doesn't conform to their requirements. You can push a cloned site on Adwords under a different domain, no issues there.

yeah ad got approved everything is running again. I deleted the other site from search console and changed a few things on the new site. But I think the main reason it got approved was that I unchecked discourage searchengines from indexing in wordpress. I think as I had it checked google couldnt crawl my site for reviewing it.. Still it really sucks that adwords doesnt give u the specific reasons.Would make things a lot easier. Thx everyone for helping

It's the same reason they try to be secretive about ranking. If they gave away the recipe, we'd all be baking some Adwords muffins.
