Webmaster tools not showing any backlinks for my site.

I've been building links for a site for weeks now, but when I check WMT "links to your site", there's no data. Can anyone explain that?

use another online checker - just google "free online link checker"

has WMT ever shown links? or has it shown links and now it is gone?

i have a WMT account for many years and when i was hit by panda 3.3 and penguin, all my links disappeared...

now they are back...not sure what caused the links to show back up...but, my rankings are back, so this is a good reason to believe the number of links is back...

it might be too soon to see those links, as google doesn't want to show you every link they count...give it some time...

OK , are you check your site backlinks using other tool like SEO Spy Glass, Open Site Explorer ?if you are using another tool they display backlinks or not.
