He is low life scammer and DO NOT work with him.

Will take even the smallest deposit and then just dissapear. Useless bastard.

Took him on for a freelance coder job. Promised work within x days. On x day he says just wait and will get it to me day after. Has not made contact since, it has been almost a week now.

He is now always offline, however I know the messages are going through because they dont have the little 'sending' skype icon.

Stay clear.

PS. SamualCoats - I will need more proof to go on. How about some details, including PMs, skype logs and/or transaction screenshots.
 
Sorry if I'm hijacking the thread but He scammed me off $200 . I have opened a claim on paypal and he is disputing my claim saying he has delivered the work. I can provide the chat logs.

Again SamuelCoats (and now denzero) - PROOF please. Skype logs, pm logs, emails, transaction screenshots etc - not just 'he scammed me'.

Post your proof.

Anyone else posts in here without proof and it will get removed.

Unfortunately paypal have already decided the case in his favour, he goes by the name Fredesvinda Diaz Gutierrez .
 
I hired him as well and put a 50% deposit down. I can't tell if I was scammed or not, and I wonder where he lives since there has been some serious natural disasters recently.

This was the last email I received from him, on the 17th.
"Hey buddy, thanks for shooting me an e-mail i had a family problem the first very day i was gonna get to work on your project, Please allow me 3-4 days more so get this done, i am going through a lot lately but i will get this done no worries, thanks for your patience."

His last activity here on this forum was the 20th. I've escalated it with paypal.

EDIT: Paypal closed the dispute within 20 minutes. Guess I've been scammed good.

Idk how anyone can do the job for that cheap, either way sorry you got scammed.
 
There is no question its a scam, after I raised the issue with paypal, he replied to the dispute claiming he has delivered and I have confirmed it was perfect and that I was the one trying to scam him and paypal ruled the decision on his favor.
 
You can appeal paypal's decision, I guess if they see a trend you will get a refund.

I did, and they closed that within minutes. It's an intangible product, and according to their policy we can only dispute products that were shipped. I've emailed them hoping for an actual human being to look into it. Pretty sure the money is gone though.
 
Thanks mate, sorry didnt even see this was live yet otherwise I would have updated. I am sure he has been here before, and will be back. I hate trying to rush jobs, and will be the last time I do.

I just found out that this guy has another ID on blackhatworld - YourC0der

I just checked he has the same paypal id and name as one of the guy here mentioned.

also he sent me a file telling me someone started a dispute

Hey friends
you can appeal paypal's decision, i guess if they see a trend you will get to refund...
