Hey ya'll, I am trying to record my youngins singing x-mas carols for my mom up in Mich to put on you*tube for her to watch. I am using camtasia now but the video isnt turning out to good. For example when they move it is all distorted and all. Like the frame rate is to low, But I didnt see anywhere to edit it. I hope I explained that good enough. I guess the best way to say it is, they look like they are in slow motion,

Any suggestions on a program I can use to record them dancing and singing so I can upload to a video site for her to watch?

Thanks

Sounds like your pc/laptop cant handle all the data? what are you using camcorder or usb cam ?

how big are the files

take a look at
Code:
http://www.splitcamera.com/
freeware

Select a desirable frame rate from 5 to 30 fps
resolutions control 160x120, 320x240, 640x480, etc.

Sounds like the camera or your computer is slow...

Go to Walmart and "rent" a nice camera, Web or Regular Camcorder. Just make sure you can return opened and you keep the receipt.

Should work for you, unless it's your computer...

Yea, I am using a philips generic cam, I guess it is because my can is a cheap one. Its a usb and I dont think my computer slow. It has to be the cam. I will have to go "borrow" one from wally world.

I appreciate the replies.

Thanks
