hostwinds is your friend ...their buget vps 7.5$ can handle this much traffic with single wordpress site .

Actually when you talk about professionalism and reliability in the hosting at very cheap prices thier are only two companies in the market ..Hostwinds and Powerup hosting.

    • Thanks Thanks x 1

    What?Where?Who?

There is no 1 in a million VPS with 0.5 CPU and 1GB RAM to can handle over 2k traffic daily!

ariel1238a : Hostwinds is an reputable provider you can go with them , they have some fancy sharing hosting plans. But no for VPS Hosting .. I wont suggest to anyone to go with provider who is not announcing in public what are the CPU cores of their machines and for how much Ghz we are talking per core .. It may be 1Ghz it may be 2.4 .. it may be 3.4 Ghz.. There is big difference in the performance you know :D You can pay for 8 core CPU and to end up with 8x1Ghz cores.. And for the same price you could get 8x3.4Ghz CPU ..

Now if you are running serious project and need more speeds and quality I would suggest you to go with www.webuzo.net because they are offering SSD VPS , their cores are 3.4Ghz+ with 100Mbps Premioum International Bandwidth + They are offshore (high privacy protection) and accepting bitcoins. My VPS's are on 100% Uptime for the last 3 months .

    Thank you for the recommendation

@ariel1238a There is no particular answer to that question because it depends on what kind of website are you building or would be hosting and how much traffic will you receive per minute, per hour, etc. How much traffic are you going to receive concurrently? Also, do you have any idea what kind of RAM and CPU consumption your Website or Web Application is going to consume?

A normal website with just a bunch of text would consume less resources as compared to a eCommerce website and a Web Application would consume more resource than eCommerce.

If you can mention the details in the thread then we can provide you with more specific answers.

    Thank You

This really depends on the web application layer of your hosting setup.
I used to host hundreds of thousands of unique visitors a day who were served dynamic content from a mysql backend database.
The whole setup was hosted on 3 servers. 2 for web serving (php>html,js,img, css) and 1 for the database.
It all depends on how good the programmers+sysadmins are.

I do not run anything really heavy, I going to run a site like any normal news site.
But i have for sure 10K-30K daily visitors
My question is whether normal storage like "hostgator" and its price its Worth more than the data of VPS and its price.
I would like to know, what is more profitable to me in terms of long-term price, and the proceeds that I would get it.
And would love to know why, thank you very much

    If I use the "VPS"
I'd love to know what that means, "Vps SSD" and what it means "tier"?

I do not know exactly how many people enter per minute or per hour
My site gets an average of 10K-30K daily visitors
I want to know, what in terms of price and terms of service
Is it better hosting or VPS?

I want to base my site In web hosting or server, Just normal site, Like News site.
I want to get the best value at the best price

--Thank you all for your comments!

I send that much traffic via ad campaigns daily to a $5 VPS. Try digitalocean or ramnode if you can setup/secure/harden vps yourself (I use debian + nginx + varnish and other optimizations), else try managed webhosting that will cost you extra bucks than vps or normal shared hosting.

My clientele uses dedicated hosting for their sites and they average around 80k ppc visitors per day.

It seems to me that downtownhost will suit all your demands on the most favorable terms.
This web host has been exceptional in terms of customer support and communications; very professional, prompt, and friendly administration.

With this amount of traffic, you can use the lowest plan from vultr.
