If you have been using hidemy*ss.c0m (or any other proxy in their network) to download large files and found that you end up with lots of broken downloads then try this one:

A lot of web proxies limit the file size of downloads so people don't use them for the reasons you stated.

The hidemy*ss network of proxies doesn't seem to limit the download size but using them results in a LOT of dropped/broken downloads.

Various proxies I found in Google limited the download size to anything from 1 MB to 5 MB.

The one from my first post in this thread doesn't seem to have an obvious limit.

Not sure if that is intentional or not so enjoy it while it lasts

I am using invisib*les*urfing.c0m. There are no limit the size of file. You can try

Somewhere in the forum someone said the web-based proxy he used was limited to 100 MB. I have used zcha*c0m for a 196 MB download which went through in one attempt.

An update for the potentpew link, I was able to download 500 mb in one shot.

I saw that "account suspended" notice yesterday (some time after my post) but today it seems they are back. I am guessing they exceeded their bandwidth

Uncle Kracker, thanks for that link I will behaving some fun there as well.

Most proxy owners like myself limit the size of downloads because Youtube and Iranians downloading porn burn up bandwidth fast.
