Has this ever happened to you guys?

Right now, my hubpage is outranking my money site by 3 spots on the first page.

I created about 3 web 2.0s for a niche, which point to money aite, and submitted 80+ articles pointing to my web 2.0s, and then I SB 5k comments to the articles.

Now my hubpage is out ranking my money site. Has this happened to you guys? Shouldnt the juice pass to my money site and bump that up passed the web 2.0?

I'm quite sure hub pages are no follow until a certain level so link juice will not be passed, hence the reason why it is outranking your site.

We'll, that would make sense. What wouldn't make sense is why hubpages is on everyones web 2.0 list then

I agree it should have a note about that but they can be very powerful. Engage with other hub page users, this will get them liking your hub and sharing it increasing the hub rank needs to be 40 for the hub itself and a author rating of 75 if i'm not mistaken. Publish more hubs on other topics that are insightful and engaging, this will help boost your author score. I have a hub with a PR of 3 which boasts a nice do follow link. Hope that helps. Cecle.

As of yesterday, first page for one of my main KW's now includes the following:

-EMD with 10 badly spun posts and no ads
    -digg post from indian site
    -wordpress.com article
    -edublogs article

My site was bumped to #14, I think google is just trolling us now

Looking at it from a logical perspective:

The primary function of a Web 2.0 site is to generate revenue. They do this by driving traffic to their pages using articles (hubs, lenses, etc.) written by publishers (you). To make more money, they need to lure in more publishers and since many sites have large numbers of publishers and articles, Google loves these sites. Link juice is not passed on easily from these sites because it would take money out of their pockets (Adsense revenue share) and Google's (Adwords earnings from advertisers). Possibly Google sees a common approach to your linking strategy and is penalizing your $ site as a result...just a thought.

How are your links from your Web 2.0's set up? Meaning are they SEO optimized for anchor text that matches your $ site's keywords? Also, do the Web 2.0's point to individual pages on the $ site or just to a home/landing page?

I had this problem with couple of my review sites too and it was a fairly easy fix that I implemented on all of my sites. I changed all of my anchor text links to different synonyms for the targeted keyword pages of my money site. Previously I shared the same keywords and tags between my pages and Web 2.0's and this messed me up in the rankings because my Web 2.0 sites were becoming more 'authoritative' from the inbound links. I changed my tags on the Web 2.0's so that they were broader match terms of higher competition keywords that didn't compete with my money sites.

If you have already done a re-optimization like this, then another method to improve things would be to direct more of your article marketing efforts directly to your $ site. Even a press release or two could help.

Haha. It's cause your domains aren't aged enough. With enough work you will out rank it. This happened to me in 2011
