So i did a read about people using sites that are getting thousands of backlinks everyday and therefore its normal for them to receive this amount of links.

    1. A 2.0 has address of either:

    https://yourchosensubdomain.domainofweb20.com (like blabla.tumlbr.com)
    2. OR:
    https://domainofweb20s/yoursubdomain

    1. First case:
you own a subdomain and all the backlinks for root domain and its subdomains are counted differently

    2. second case:
You own a single page (or couple of them) on already strong web 2.0 domain and can start shooting backlinks 100 per day and more immedietely, because, as we check the domain on majestic/ahrefs/etc it gets like 10k-100k backlinks each day.

However i didnt test it. I just copied what someone else said (however he rather said about amazon and youtube). I see pretty same logic here. What are your thoughts?

    Home Page:
    - Most of high quality Web 2.0 blogs are using subdomain already.
    - The ones that use subdirectories left are of lesser quality. In the end, they are either dead or moving to use subdomain.
    - Most of the Web 2.0 that use subdirectories are Web 2.0 Profiles

In my experience, there is no difference between subdomain and subfolder because Google is not dumb to not recognize that those subfolder belongs to different accounts (the number of Web 2.0 targets is limited so even a child can see that).

Thanks for your reply. You might be right that they mainly are moving to use subdomains, however there are still couple that are not. There arent many, I checked the most popular ones with PR 9-7 and they all have changed to subdomain. However If i find "bad quality" 2.0 platform that still uses folders, isnt it still worth it? If we can quickly throw links at them i think it would be good exchange.

Google are sure very smart but what about this technique from 2014
    https://www.blackhatworld.com/seo/parasites-pwn-leeching-from-authority-sites.702089/

They sure know what Amazon is yet they let this technique in 2014 work.
Someone asked if its still working in 2016
    https://www.blackhatworld.com/seo/does-parasite-seo-still-work-2016.828831/

And answers are that it is.
