Does anyone know of any strong web 2.0 properties that support adsense?

I know Google blog seems to support it.

Any sites anyone can add to the list is greatly appreciated!

I know Hubpages, Squidoo and ehow do, but as Moosey said probably most of them support adsense

Squidoo seems to have a "revshare" program but they don't seem to allow you to directly embed your adsense embed code on the page. Their revshare program seems to be a split.
It would be nice if there were some strong web 2.0 properties that simply allow you to embed your adsense code.

That's correct, I thought you were asking that. I don't think there's any web 2.0 site or article directory that allows you to keep all the adsense earnings for yourself.

A blog in wordpress.com or blogger.com is a different thing.

If you want to buy custom domain then go for Wordpress. They don't allow adsense on free blogs.
Free and for adsense: Blogspot, and Tumblr (might change because its new owner is Yahoo)

for weebly, you can do a 50/50 if you use their widget or just put your html ad code directly by using their custom html widget and keep all of your earnings. :)
