    Hey guys,
I was thinking about these updates and actually some of web 2.0 are sometimes ranking better than my own websites!
I dont know why G give them so much authority but it is true.

What i was thinking about is own private blog network.

There are several benefits and the biggest one is that you dont have to pay for SEO hosting and you can easily manage from one account per domain . As most of web 2.0 platforms dont show any link to your profile of footprint how can G find that these blogs are registered with same email and nickname.

Of course much cheaper and i think that it can be also pretty effective . Also you can build some really good tier 2 and gain them faster authority.

    What do you think guys?

I think its a good idea but personally I wouldn't want to spend so much time making a network in which I have no control over, at any time the web 2.0 provider could just close your blogs down. But then again if you make them all quality blogs then that shouldn't be a problem

That will always a good idea. You can mange those by placing non linking articles first and try to rank it by diversifying the anchors.

Once it gets ranked then start placing links. Always careful not to overoptimize, it leads to deletion as well.

I used to do this on websites with stronger competition.A network of 60-70 blogs with multiple pages,is quite powerfull.
I also have a service in my signature,so you can have it as an example.(top notch web2.0's one)

If the blogs stick they could be pretty useful, but how is this any different from setting up a regular high quality tier 1 portfolio. When done right, most tier 1 properties naturally gain PR and authority on their own just by building your link pyramids normally.

Isn't this what everyone is already doing? The only difference I see is calling it a private web 2.0 blog network, but people have been doing this since web 2.0 pyramids became popular.

There are few Web 2.0 maintaining in BOTs. You can use them to Build Web 2.0 and maintain them easily.
I am not sure but I think SENUKE gives this feature

Your idea is really good actually!

Besides the regular web 2.0 tier1 creating, since 6-7 years i am building free hosted networks that i use to boost the serps for my main sites. It works quite good and if operated properly it is well worth the effort.

Just an advice from me, don't include blogspots in such a network, or if you include make sure you get a brand new account with new private proxy that you will always to log in. As about the internal linking, make sure to make totally random interlinking strategy that always leads to an dead end. example: wordpress.com links to squidoo, squidoo links to livejournal, dead end. Another site from live journal links to opera.com, opera.com links to squidoo.... Hope you catch the idea

Well, I am having a blog network of 10 blogs. All of them are old, not-in-the-same-niche PR3+ .coms
Now I do some linking betwen them, I also get 100% unique content for them(they all run WP and it's really simple to add articles). I have like 100 views all together per day and I hire people to post coments below my articles so they look more legit. I also have a lot(50-100) videos from different channes with 5k+views linking to my sites. All yt's also have a lot of backlinks so they have good SERP. The thing is, that when I want to promote my money site, I post 5 different unique articles on 5(out of ten) sites. And other sites linking to that. Ii also get some links from Y!Answers, fb, yt, twitter, forums etc(all unique).
How coluld I build this up and what should I improve? I might as well open my own topic if this is too much OT :)
    Thanks!
