I have created 10 web 2.0, placed an anchor text and linked them to my money site. I have also blasted the 2.0s with GSA SER 30000 links.

    Question is:
    - When I use AHREFs, they only manage to find 1 web 2.0. And it is a nofollow link
    - Checking google webmasters tools, I can't see any of the web 2.0 inside the linked pages.

Does anyone know the reason why? It is quite frustrating!

Do I have to manually index all my web 2.0s?

Anyhow, indexing is not a fast process. Plus, google webmaster tool to show backlinks take a bit of time. It is not immediate as ahref or majestic.

You would be better checking the web2.0 URL's in google search to see if there indexed

Just checked.. Some are indexed, but I am not receiving a backlink from them on AHREFs or Webmaster tools. Should I be concerned?

Web2.0s can take a while to get indexed. If you have very slim content on them, even harder.

Why were you blasting GSA links to nofollow web2.0s ?

To see if they are indexed, do a site:<link> search on Google. Ahrefs can take a while to pick them up, and GWT never shows all the links.

Don't believe in backlink checkers. You have backlinks if they got indexed

The best thing to do is create Web 2.0's with good content and links built to them, then theystand more chacne of getting indexed.

So it depends what you "created" - one page crap Web2.0's, or multi-page ones that all interlink well internally?

One of my web 2.0s is hosted at bravesites. It should be a do follow link, but when I checked AHREFs on my money site, it was a nofollow link.

My web2.0 are very minimal though. Just a couple of pages of content + contact us page + privacy page. This should be sufficient yes?

    1. Web 2.0 properties index at various rates. Some do not index at all. 30k links to 10 sites sounds high to me. You may have toasted them if they were new pages/sub-domains. Backlinking definitely helps them to index....but go steady.

    2. Most backlink checkers only show certain Web 2.0 platforms, I have found. But who cares though...if you have created a link....then its a link. Keeping your own record is the best bet.

You have to be patient, manually index all your web2.0s, and also try to index the majority of tier 2 links. Once you have done all that, allow several weeks for final results.

Also, don't use ahrefs to check your backlinks as it doesnt mean anything. Ahrefs is good to check on your competitors.
