In most of the cases, Google will index almost all Tumblr blogs. Would you please show us your references?

Why not build your own website for your content?

These are some very interesting looking blogs here. I see some potential for some other things as well.

Thanks for asking this question OP, I too am wondering what 2.0 platforms to use for adult content. I have already made a few on Wordpress, Weebly, Webnode, Wikidot, Blog.com, and Tripod. Tripod, Webnode and Wordpress didn't allow adult keywords in the URL, but I posted adult content anyway. It is holding so ... so far so good. I made them two weeks ago.

About Tumblr, I would really like to clear up what was mentioned about Tumblr blogs not being indexed by Google. In my GWT, the Tumblr backlinks are there 1000s strong. Can someone give more input on this?

These guys show up in search:

i'm confused about some adult tumblr blogs showing on google as well, i suppose they are old blogs before yahoo updated their rules...i have tested with an expired tumblr, the url doesn't contain any adult keywords and the old content wasn't adult related so when i added an article it got indexed even thou it had adult keyword, but creating a whole new tumblr blog with adult keywords in the title i couldn't manage to get it to index even after social media shares ect..

They did deindex all adult content, but people were so pissed they changed their mind within a few days. Adult content is totally ok on tumblr as long as it isn't commercial
