I created around 200 web 2.0s accounts. The problem is a lot of them do something like WEB2.0URL/MYLINK which is of course basically useless or am I wrong?

After checking each I only had around 40+ left which allow normal linking.

How do you deal with this?

How do you look for other working web 2.0s to use?

    Thanks

I think that this is still ok, as that link still redirects to your url.

If the url goes to your website it will pass the juice. Seems like you have plenty of bookmarking sites with same script :)

There is a huge list in the forum by Phpbuilt, you might want to use that. Most of the sites are good and worth it.

Its no problem mate. The juice gets directed to your site. Its like water flowing downhill :)

Problem is the links dont go to my site at all due to the way they are programmed. I dont really care about nofollow/******** but i think they are basically useless if i created a link to my site if it comes out like this. Abc.com/mysite.com/my-page.

Most of the sites are likely 301ing external URLs. No big deal and nothing to be alarmed about. Sure, you may lose some link juice but they still should help if your content is of a reasonable quality/spun well. Do some research on 301 redirects and server header codes so that you can learn more about these types of URLs.

Thank you so much for answering my question. I felt they were useless so I discarded them from my record. Now I gotta go back to checking again sigh.

Generally agree - but content and context links are far better for first tier. Tested on hundred of campaigns and content for context is more important than ever. But in general a "link is a link" don't get hung up on a platform "forum links are bad, WBE2 are good" The only difference is the content/context. PR5 is PR5

Penguin doesn't care about context - Panda does!

(oops realised you actually agree with that - sry)

Couldn't agree more, on some campaigns I just have a handful of high PR forum profiles and nothing else, my sites are on the top 5 spots; it really depends on the competition.

Yeah its not a problem, as long as you have a link to your URL
